Warwick is a writer from Melbourne, Australia. Having previously worked as an engineer, he completed RMIT’s Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing in 2008 and has worked full-time as a writer ever since.
A keen hiker and traveller, his articles have appeared in many newspapers and magazines including Wild, Great Walks, Wanderlust, The Age, Australian Geographic Outdoor and The Big Issue. He has written guidebooks to Tasmania’s Overland Track and Victoria’s Great South West Walk.
Warwick also writes fiction, with his stories appearing in many local and international publications such as Meanjin, Southerly, Westerly, Fiction Desk and Page 17. His first short collection, We will live and then we will see, was published by Riff Raff Press in February 2024.
He is the Director of Sprawson Writing & Editing, a company providing technical writing services.
